Thanks so much. Thinking about that still inspires me today!
I am so sorry for your loss. I have a daughter, it is a possibility I never let myself imagine. Thank you for writing.
Thank you. I was worried I might be doing the homeless an injustice by even putting myself in that category. I definitely experienced what it felt like to be 'out of' society, and not through choice, but I had financial backup, I own properties, I had a job, and friends…
Congrats! I love those books, though now I live in Spain , I don't find them in bookshops very much!
Good to know. I never thought they'd actually be good to walk in, practical maybe, but not good for you. Thanks for writing!
I can relate to this partly, I was in Havana and there was no public transport during lockdown. With my electric bike, I was one of those luckier souls out on the road, wind in my hair, cycling 15 km to teach English to embassadors (with mask) and NOT arriving sweaty because it was electric. Good times! Biking is the best!
Wow. I'm glad I live in Europe. I just heard an ad on Spanish radio encouraging people post-pandemic to get out and see the country, an ad sponsored by the government. The next one was encouraging people to party and have fun but be responsible with their drinking. Different world.
