I did part of my university studies in California and used to dream about returning to the US to leave.

As I've got older, and health and education and time matter more, and now I'm a Mum, there's no way I'd move there. There are so many awesome other places to live in the world where there is time to really live, without the worry of paying for basic human rights like health and education.

I think it's a country for the young and ambitious or the very wealthy. As a place to visit though, I can't wait to return!
