Interesting article.

I spent a lot of time travelling and teaching English when younger. I know my American friends thought I was brave (perhaps foolhardy?) but in Britain, it's not considered such a strange thing to do.

For us Brits, we know there are other places one can make a living, maybe even a better living, and whatever happens, travel and living abroad can only make you a rounder, perhaps more-employable individual. Whatever happens, the life lessons gained from living somewhere else never go away, they benefit you always, they change you and you still reap the reward (and carry the stories) when you are old. Isn't that something to value?
