Interesting read. We lived in Northern Spain for two years and our Friday nights were as you describe, with the other parents (our kid is now 6). We now live in Valencia but haven't felt that same community possible, and I wonder if it's because the city is too big, maybe we just won't find it here. Maybe we should consider Gandia!
