My (Cuban) husband discovered social media later than many, and has found joy in reconnecting with people from the island who left over the years. But I am so over his addition to Facebook, I keep telling him, you'll never get that time back and you create nothing. I guess for him, though, he creates connections and relationships, and that for him is important.
