So true. For me, I really wanted to become a mother before it was too late, and I did, but it is the case that now I put up with a relationship I may otherwise not put up with, a loss of freedom that still shocks a former nomad like me, and a body that changed forever with childbirth and I doubt I will ever get it back! This is not to say I regret it, but whatever decision a woman makes at this point is so unbelievably pivotal, a bigger decision than most men will ever have to make.
