That's terrifying, all of it! I am sorry that can happen. That that could happen like that. I am married to a black man too, but Cuban, and his and our experiences as a couple have been very different. Not to say there is no racism in Cuba, or Spain, where we now live, but it's far from the American reality. This is one reason he's often said he has zero interest in even visiting the US, and after reading your story, I would tend to agree.
