This is interesting to read because I don't know that Europeans would necessarily identify with this. From my experience as a Brit, society doesn't 'train' us to be competitive and be winners. To be winners implies others have to be losers. I would say we are more trained in Europe to exist in fraternity, to engage with family and society to create a good space for us all to exist. Just my opinion, but I wanted to share....
